    lineno [ -on | -off ]
    "line numbers"
    
    DESCRIPTION:
        'lineno'   creates   or   removes   a  subwindow,   showing   the  line
        numbers, along the left  border  of  the  text  window.   'lineno  -on'
        creates   the   line  number  window.  'lineno -off' removes  the  line
        number  window.  'lineno' by itself toggles between displaying the line
        number window  and  removing it.
        
        The  total screen area used by ce is not increased when the line number
        window is added.  Space is taken from the text area so that fewer  text
        columns are displayed.
